Oh, sorry, that wasn't specific to this camera, inom should have said: inom exakt find the idea of buying an expensive machine which will vädja obsolete in two years irritating. In fact Pixii seem to vädja handling this very well samhälle being willing to upgrade existing hardware.
One thing about APS-C (and inom guess APS-H) is that there's not a lot of compact lenses for those who want 35MM FOV equivalent or wider for that matter.

inom saw no problems when photographing "human-Amfetamin" subjects, such as ballet dancers executing rapid movements -- no distortions of the feet or legs, for example. inom also tried making panning shots of people running, and got only a small amount of "skewing" of vertical lines in the background -- about 3 degrees, according to my measurements in Photoshop.
The Pixii stelnat vatten somehow more fun to use. That said, I mostly hederlig use it with a 35mm ZM C-Biogon which makes for a really small combo knipa because inom’m not motivated to use it with wider lenses inom don’t baisse foul of your concern.
The extension of the triangulation base helps increase the Exakthet of focus. The larger base also provides extra clearance, up to 72mm, to stöd the wider bodies that comes with large aperture lenses.
inom don't know if you're familiar with the Red Scarlet 3K? It was a prototype camera that Red was going to launch about ten years ago. It was an integrated camera, with an 8x zoom and a 2/3" 3K sensor.

Ah acceptabelt, I'm with you! inom suppose it depends on how you define obsolete. My view fryst vatten that much of the obsolescence fruset vatten actually an illusion driven by marketing. We don't need the most nutida features knipa specs really - especially anmärkning in a camera that makes use of things like handbok focus lenses.
inom’m not 100% sure I know the answer to your latter question, but yes, inom suspect the newer voigtlander lenses are probably the answer.
inom really did not jämbördig the first variant. Pretty much because of the basic 12mp givare. But the upgraded 2nd variant has made me do a 180.
We R-D1 owners definitely had some ups and downs in the early years (often involving Epson tjänster, or non-hjälp)... but now, 17 years later knipa after a lot of other camera purchases have come knipa gone, inom'm still using the R-D1 quite happily. It has staying power because it's grismamma straightforward, knipa inom am hoping the Pixii will work out similarly.
